Psychoeducational and Dyslexia Evaluation
Every child and adult has their own unique strengths and weaknesses. The goal of psychoeducational testing is to help families better understand how their child learns and thinks. This can provide clear answers when questions about attention, learning, or school performance present themselves at school. Through comprehensive evaluations, we work together to uncover what might be getting in the way of successful learning. Let's look together how to best support growth and learning in your child.

At MorMindful Therapy & Psychiatry, we offer professional Psychoeducational evaluations services for children ages 6-17. When a child struggles with reading, writing, or math, it can affect confidence and progress in school. A Psychoeducational evaluation looks at overall cognitive abilities and compares them with academic achievement. This helps identify whether a learning disorder may be present, while also highlighting your child's strengths and areas for support.

Our psychoeducational evaluation includes gifted testing (IQ), dyslexia testing (Achievement Measures and a diagnostic clinical interview to gather academic and family information.
