Did you know that some mental health conditions meet the definition of a disability? This means that under the American with Disabilities Act and The Fair Housing Act of 1973, you have the right to live where you choose with your dog or cat, regardless of association or campus rules.
The doctors at MorMindful provide VALID Emotional Support Evaluations performed by a licensed clinical psychologist with real credentials. Mass produced ESA letters taken from internet websites are not credible and leave you susceptible to paying for fraudulent psychological documentation of what may be a true mental health disorder.

Mental health conditions like depression, anxiety, trauma and and bipolar disorder all qualify under the right circumstances for a verified letter confirming your diagnosis and authorized right to live (and fly) with your animal. Surprisingly, your pet DOES NOT need to have any special training or be certified as a service animal. In fact, Emotional Support Animals are different than service animals and don't require the same type of certification.

At MorMindul Therapy & Psychiatry in Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale, the full ESA evaluation is only 300.00 dollars, which includes the assessment and letter you will need to bring with you to an apartment complex or flight that does not allow animals. Although there is no guarantee that your HOA or complex/airline will accept the letter, they usually do from our office because of our reputation and good standing within the South Florida community.

Here is a quick check list to ask yourself before you call us to see if you qualify to have your pet verified as an emotional support animal.

1. Do you have a mental health diagnosis or do you meet the criteria for a DSM V psychological diagnosis?
2. Are you taking prescription medications which are considered psychotropic meds for example, anti-depressants, SSRI's, anti-anxiety medication or mood stabilizers?
3. Do you have a dog or cat that is an integral part of your daily functioning, quality of life and ability to work due to the assistance your animal provides you?

If for some reason you need your evaluation and letter to be expedited, we an accommodate you and usually meet your needs and time constraints within 24-72 hours for 500.00.
