Dr. Summerson is a psychiatrist currently completing her fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, with a passion for providing compassionate, culturally competent care across all stages of life. Originally from Miami Beach, Florida, and proud of her Cuban heritage, she is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to connect deeply with the diverse South Florida community.
Dr. Summerson has a strong background in public healthcare services and preventative medicine, and she believes in a comprehensive, individualized approach to mental health that integrates therapy and medication. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys the vibrant Miami lifestyle—exploring new restaurants, embracing the local culture, pilates/yoga and never missing her daily cafecito.
